Discover the ACR for PVC Products
ACR is a copolymer of acrylic esters. It is a fine, white, non-toxic and non-corrosive powder made from various acrylic esters, crosslinking agents, emulsifiers, initiators, molecular weight regulators and other raw materials through multiple emulsion polymerizations. It has a core-shell structure and has good compatibility with PVC. While improving the impact strength of PVC, it can shorten the melting and plasticizing time and improve the processing capacity. It also has outstanding advantages such as good weather resistance, good lubricity and high gloss.
In the processing of PVC, ACR can be used as a processing aid to improve the processing performance and impact resistance of PVC. According to different needs, ACR can be divided into different types such as plasticization promotion type, foaming regulator and external lubrication type. Among them, the foaming regulator can improve the melt strength of the PVC material, effectively encapsulate the foaming gas and form a uniform honeycomb structure, which is suitable for foamed sheet, pipe, profile and other products.
In addition, ACR can also be applied in other fields, such as engineering plastics like polycarbonate (PC), polyester (PET) and their blends and alloys, to improve their impact resistance.
